The Fire Marshal Division provides services to all unincorporated DeKalb County and Municipalities within DeKalb through formal Intergovernmental Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding.

How to Apply for Permits
  • Unincorporated DeKalb County: Submit plans directly to DeKalb County Planning and Sustainability
  • Cities within DeKalb County: Submit plans to your municipality first; they will issue a routing sheet, then you can submit to DeKalb County Planning and Sustainability
  • Online Permitting: Visit ePermitting Portal
