DeKalb County Public Library (DCPL) announced today that the Decatur Library will reopen on February 10 at 10:00 a.m. The library is implementing new entry procedures designed to provide a safe and secure environment for library visitors. “Our commitment to a safe reopening is our top priority. The reopening, originally planned for February 9, has been moved to February 10 to allow for additional coordination for enhanced security measures,” said Alison Weissinger, Director of DeKalb County Public Library. “We have taken concrete steps to improve our security posture, and every person who enters our doors can focus on the resources and community connection the library provides. We are also deeply grateful for the community’s patience and support during this time.”
