The EPA estimates an average household uses 100 gallons of water per day, per person. More info on these calculations can be found on the EPA's website.

No sewer charges are applied to customers who have septic tanks. Actual usage will vary with individual consumption and conservation practices.

How to Dispute Your Water Bill

If you think your bill is incorrect, we’re here to help. You can dispute your bill in any of the following ways:

Be sure to include your service address, billing account number, and a phone number where we can reach you.

What You Need to Know:

  • File your dispute before your bill due date to avoid late fees or disconnection.
  • While your bill is under review, you don’t have to pay the disputed amount.
  • You still need to pay the part of your bill that is not in dispute by the due date.
  • We’ll confirm that we received your dispute within 10 business days.
  • After we review and resolve your dispute, you’ll need to either:
    Pay the adjusted balance within 10 days, or
    Call Customer Service at 404-378-4475 to set up a payment plan.
