What We Do
  • Performance Audits: Assess program effectiveness, economy, and efficiency and, depending on the audit objectives, may also evaluate relevant internal controls—including financial controls—and compliance.
  • IT Audits: Evaluate technology controls, cybersecurity, data integrity, and system reliability.
  • Contract Pre-Award Reviews: Assess proposed contracts for adequate support, compliance, and cost-effectiveness before award.
  • Follow-up Reviews: Monitor implementation of agreed-upon audit recommendations.
  • Risk Assessments: Identify areas of highest risk to County operations.

Mr. Campbell leads the Office of Independent Internal Audit with more than 22 years of progressive audit experience, including 19 years in government auditing and fraud investigation and 9 years in audit management and leadership.
