Audit Oversight Committee
The DeKalb County Audit Oversight Committee provides oversight of the independent internal audit function, ensuring independence and objectivity in the audit process to promote transparency and accountability to the public.
Committee Purpose
- Ensure independence of the internal audit function
- Review audit plans and reports
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
- Provide guidance on audit priorities
- Maintain public accountability
