The Office of Management & Budget (OMB) develops and manages DeKalb County's annual operating budget in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, county departments, and the community.
Our Mission
The Office of Management & Budget assists the Chief Executive Officer in executing policy, budget, management, and regulatory objectives through development and administration of DeKalb County's annual operating budget.
Goals
- To provide accurate and informative data and analysis to the public and policymakers.
- To develop budgets and long-term plans that reflect the interests of county stakeholders and maintain financial stability of the county.

Director, T.J. Sigler
T. J. Sigler has served as Director of DeKalb County’s Office of Management & Budget (OMB) since 2018. He has worked for DeKalb County for over fifteen years in various roles with the Board of Commissioners, the CEO’s Office, and OMB. He also worked for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia for three years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Alabama and a master of public administration degree from the University of Georgia.
