Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continues with the design of Shoal Creek Trunk Sewer Improvement Project. The county will host two (2) Public Information Open House events about this project. Both of these events will present the same information.

The DeKalb-Peachtree Airport Advisory Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 13, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom at https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/j/84958022051. At a recent DeKalb County Board of Commissioners’ Committee of the Whole meeting, Commissioner Steve Bradshaw proposed the adoption of the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code. “The intent of this proposal is very straight forward,” Commissioner Bradshaw said. “It is simply to provide an additional tool in our toolbox as we work to address blighted conditions on existing properties in DeKalb County.”

The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold a Parks Citizen Advisory Board Committee meeting on Tuesday, November 14 at 6 p.m. at the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Headquarters, 1950 West Exchange Place, Tucker, GA 30084.
