The DeKalb County Charter Review Commission will be meeting Thursday, May 11, and Wednesday, May 17, at 6:00 p.m. to continue to review sections of the County Organizational Act. The meetings will be held in person at the Manuel J. Maloof Center,1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur, GA 30030. Free parking is available at the DeKalb County Courthouse parking lot for this evening event.

Rockbridge Road, between Barbashela Drive and Shelton Woods Court, will be closed to through-traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 15 to Thursday, June 15 to rehabilitate a gravity sewer in front of 285 Shelton Woods Court, Stone Mountain, Ga. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions.

DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host two Gateway to Fishing Programs, May 20th and Aug. 11th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Park, 3985 LeHigh Blvd., Decatur, Ga. The event will take place at the fishing pond.

The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold a Parks Citizen Advisory Board Committee meeting on Tuesday, May 23 at 6 p.m. at the Mason Mill Recreation Center, 1340 McConnell Drive, Decatur, GA. Princeton Way NE, between N Decatur Road and N Decatur Road, will be closed to through-traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 15, to facilitate a large crane removal of a tree at 468 Princeton Way NE, Atlanta 30307. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions.
