Due to the limited amount of remaining funds and the large number of pending applications, DeKalb County announced today that it is suspending the acceptance of new applications for financial help through the DeKalb Tenant-Landlord Assistance Coalition (TLAC) program. The last day to apply for the program will be Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

As part of the ongoing Memorial Drive Community Rebranding Initiative, Commissioner Bradshaw, in partnership with DeKalb County Planning and Sustainability, Community Development and Houser Walker Architecture, will host the public meeting to present the finalists for both the logo and branding efforts. This is a result of a public meeting held in December 2022 to gather feedback from the community.

DeKalb County is receiving $10.3 million in grants to be used at six park facilities. Georgia Gov. Brian P. Kemp announced preliminary grant awards May 18 for 142 qualified projects statewide that improve neighborhood assets like parks, recreation facilities, sidewalks, and healthy food access in communities across the state disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
