The DeKalb County Long Range Planning Division will hold the second public meeting to discuss the new PathLink initiative Wednesday, October 2, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually and attendees are encouraged to register here. Those who register will also receive a recording of the meeting. The community is invited to attend and provide input on the proposed wayfinding sign locations and hear about more project updates, including safety improvements.

Commissioners Mereda Davis Johnson, District 5 and Michelle Long Spears, District 2, are partnering to host the Companion Animals and Friends event on Saturday, October 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Redan Recreation Center. Residents should avoid these areas to allow crews to clear the roads when weather conditions allow them to do so. Due to inclement weather conditions expected from Hurricane Helene, the Sanitation Division and Beautification Unit operations are impacted.
