The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management is actively repairing a significant water main break on Clairmont Road near Dresden Drive, impacting nearly 8,800 households and 20,000 residents in the Toco Hills area and surrounding neighborhoods. The break was caused by the age of the pipe, a cast iron structure installed in 1941.

DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management crews continue work to repair a 30” broken water main at 3661 Clairmont Road. Approximately 100 homes and several businesses in the area are experiencing low to no water service due to the damaged water line. Bottled water will be available to affected residents at the Race Trac located at 3630 Clairmont Road, Atlanta, GA 30341.
