Crews will be working intermittently on North Decatur Road and the Emory Roundabout, Thursday, April 14 to Friday, April 29, to facilitate crosswalk repairs. Work is scheduled to be completed prior to Saturday, April 30. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions.

DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is now accepting applications for numerous summer employment opportunities such as pool managers, food monitors, camp counselors, recreation assistants and bus drivers. Applicants must be ages 18 or older to apply for recreation positions. All applicants selected will be required to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screening and criminal background check prior to employment.

The DeKalb Board of Registration and Elections will host a special called meeting on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 1 p.m. to review voter challenges. This meeting will be conducted via teleconference (Zoom). Simultaneous public access to the meeting will be available via livestream on DCTV’s UStream channel at https://video.ibm.com/channel/dctv-channel-23.
