Due to a brief delay in voting, one DeKalb County precinct will remain open until 7:15 p.m. to provide voters with extended time to cast their ballots in the primary runoff election. The Woodridge Elementary precinct, located at Woodridge Elementary School, 4120 Cedar Ridge Trail A in Stone Mountain, experienced a brief delay in processing voters and will remain open until 7:15 p.m. – an additional 15 minutes beyond typical poll closing.

The DeKalb Board of Registration and Elections meeting for the purpose of conducting its normal monthly business will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at noon. In addition to regular business, the Board will certify the June 21 primary runoff election results. This meeting will be conducted via teleconference (Zoom). In June 2021, DeKalb Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson allocated $100,000 from the District 7 discretionary fund for Discover DeKalb to retain C.H. Johnson Consulting Inc. for the purpose of conducting comprehensive market analysis for the feasibility of a new event and hospitality epicenter in DeKalb County.
