The DeKalb County Police Department is proud to announce it has teamed up with local faith leaders for the 2021 National Faith & Blue Weekend. The National Faith & Blue Weekend, which has been called the “largest and most collaborative police community outreach project in American history,” aims to strengthen neighborhoods through two key pillars of the community – houses of worship and law enforcement.

Dekalb County Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) is participating in an event called Doggie Days in partnership with Atlanta-based nonprofit disABILITY LINK on Saturday, Oct 9, 2021 to ensure all voters are ready for the upcoming Municipal General/Special Election.

The DeKalb Board of Registration and Elections meeting for the purpose of conducting its normal monthly business will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. This meeting will be conducted via teleconference (Zoom). Simultaneous public access to the meeting will be available via livestream on DCTV’s UStream channel at https://video.ibm.com/channel/dctv-channel-23.

The DeKalb Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) Board recently approved the expansion of voting options during the upcoming election. DeKalb voters now have two Sunday advance voting options on Oct. 17 and Oct. 24., noon until 5 p.m. on both days at all designated Advance Voting locations.

The DeKalb-Peachtree Airport Advisory Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 11, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom at https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/s/87357743816.
