Livingstone Place, between East College Avenue and Craigie Avenue, will be closed to through-traffic 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Friday, September 9 through September 30 to facilitate a watermain replacement at 718 Livingstone Pl. Decatur, Ga. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions.

Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continue with construction of the Woodacres Water Main Replacement Project. DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management crews have completed repairs to a broken water main on Clairmont Terrace near Clairmont Road. A contractor replacing and repairing fire hydrants in this area caused a break to a service line. As service is restored, customers in the affected area may experience brown water and are encouraged to run the faucets inside and outside their homes/businesses to clear the internal plumbing.
