The DeKalb County Charter Review Commission will be holding a public hearing and in-person meeting on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the DeKalb School Board’s Robert R. Freeman Administrative Complex located at 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard, Stone Mountain, GA. Social distancing will be observed. Free parking is available at the site. The hearing will also be broadcast on DCTV’s UStream channel.

Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continues on Monday, Oct. 31, with the launch of the Cobbs Creek Sewer Replacement Project. Crews will replace approximately 6,449 linear feet of sewer pipe and replace existing manholes. Phase 1 of the sewer replacement project is expected to last approximately 14 months (October 2022 to December 2023), barring any weather delays.
