Spirit of DeKalb Awards

DeKalb County hosted the 3rd annual Spirit of DeKalb Awards, an annual gala recognizing individuals and organizations whose leadership, service, and commitment have made a lasting impact across the community.

Proceeds from the event support efforts to address food insecurity and expand access to nutritious meals for individuals and families throughout DeKalb County.

The program celebrated excellence in leadership, innovation, community impact, and service, and included a special presentation to The Same House, which received a $25,000 donation to further its work addressing food insecurity. The evening also included a moment of remembrance honoring fallen first responders Officer David Rose and Master Firefighter Preston Fant.
