DeKalb County is committed to delivering government that is efficient, transparent, and accountable to its residents. As part of CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson’s transition strategy, an independent assessment was conducted across 18 departments to identify opportunities for improvement. The evaluation produced 266 actionable recommendations to modernize operations, streamline processes, strengthen leadership, and enhance service delivery.
This landmark assessment marks a pivotal step in shaping the future of DeKalb County providing a clear, data-informed roadmap for how we serve, lead, and grow together.
