Registered voters who plan on voting on Election Day to make a plan to vote. On Election Day, voters must vote at their assigned precinct. Before heading to the polls, voters should verify their precinct information at www.DeKalbVotes.com. View wait times. It’s important to note that provisional ballots will not be available for voters who arrive at the incorrect precinct until the final hour of voting.

DeKalb Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs in partnership with the How Big Is Your Dream Foundation, whose founder and CEO is the renowned drummer Jorel “JFly” Flynn, will host the Third Annual Academy of the Arts summer camp at the Porter Sanford, III Performing Arts and Community Center, 3181 Rainbow Dr. Decatur, Ga. 30034. The day camp is for children aged 10 to 18 and will run Monday through Friday from June 3 – 21. Each day lasts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with breakfast and lunch included.

DeKalb County Commissioner Robert Patrick has partnered with Frontline Response to launch a new public-private partnership initiative to combat ongoing homelessness in DeKalb County called The Village Impact Fund. This initiative will utilize Stanford University’s collective impact model that suggests large-scale social change requires broad cross-sector coordination for issues that prove challenging for any single entity to solve on its own.

DeKalb County Presiding Officer Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson in collaboration with Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington will host the 10th Annual DeKalb County HOA Bootcamp on Thursday, May 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Lou Walker Senior Center located at 2538 Panola Rd, Lithonia, Ga. 30058. Attendees can expect to learn how to address common HOA concerns, receive updates from the Georgia HOA Alliance executives and learn more about House Bill 1017 (Squatters Law), recently passed in the 2024 Legislative Session.
