The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold a virtual Parks Citizen Advisory Board Committee meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at 6 p.m. The meeting to discuss current park improvements and recreation projects will be conducted via Zoom at https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/j/85189765202

DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly installed Serenity Garden at Hairston Park on Wednesday, January 18, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at Hairston Park, 911 S. Hairston Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088.

The DeKalb County Charter Review Commission will be meeting Thursday, January 12 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in person at the Manuel J. Maloof Center,1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur, GA 30030. Free parking is available at the DeKalb County Courthouse parking lot for this evening event. The hearing will also be broadcast on DCTV’s UStream channel.

The DeKalb-Peachtree Airport Advisory Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom at https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/j/84958022051. DeKalb County Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023. The meeting will be held in person at DeKalb County Public Library Darro C. Willey-Administrative Center, 3560 Kensington Road, Decatur, GA 30032. A live broadcast of the meeting will be streamed over the internet.
