DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections Board to Meet Jan. 12

The DeKalb Board of Registration and Elections meeting for the purpose of conducting its normal monthly business will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. This meeting will be conducted in person at 4380 Memorial Drive, Decatur, Ga. 30032.

DeKalb County to Open Warming Centers Jan. 13-15

DeKalb County to Host 39th Annual MLK Celebration

DeKalb County will present its 39th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration program, “Cultivating a Beloved Community,” Friday, Jan. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Maloof Auditorium, 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur. The King Day charge will be delivered by Daniel Blackman, regional administrator for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

DeKalb County to Hold Virtual Parks Citizens Advisory Board Meeting Jan. 24

Hairston Park Ribbon Cutting Set for Jan. 18

DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly installed Serenity Garden at Hairston Park on Wednesday, January 18, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at Hairston Park, 911 S. Hairston Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088.
