Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continues on Monday, Feb. 6, with the anticipated launch of the Barbashela Creek Sewer Replacement Project. The sewer replacement project is expected to last approximately 10 months (February 2023 to December 2023), barring any weather delays.

DeKalb County will open the following warming centers for residents to use on Thursday, Jan. 26, and Friday, Jan. 27, beginning at 8 p.m. Anyone staying in the warming centers must follow the county’s COVID-19 protocols that include wearing a mask, social distancing and undergoing a temperature check.
