DeKalb Commissioners Larry Johnson and Mereda Davis Johnson to Host Annual Homeowner Association Boot Camp

DeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson, in partnership with Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson, Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington and Georgia HOA Alliance will host the DeKalb and Regional Homeowner Association (HOA) Boot camp on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the Porter Sanford, III Performing Arts and Community Center, 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, Ga. 30034.

DeKalb Regional Land Bank to Meet Nov. 9

The DeKalb Regional Land Bank will meet on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 2-4 p.m. The meeting will be held via Zoom at https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/j/86460099932. The passcode is 752564. Attendees can also dial in to the meeting at 602-333-0032. The conference code is 722025. Land Bank meetings are scheduled for the second Thursday of each month unless canceled or postponed.

DeKalb County Charter Review Commission Notice and Agenda of Nov. 9 Public Hearing

The DeKalb County Charter Review Commission will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m. The hearing will be held in person at the South DeKalb Senior Center, 1931 Candler Road, Decatur, GA 30032. Free parking is available at the center for this evening event.

Milscott Drive to Close Beginning Monday, Nov. 6

Milscott Drive, between DeKalb Industrial Way and Church Street, will be closed to through-traffic beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6 through Wednesday, Jan. 15. Local traffic will detour to Church Street. The closure is part of the Scott Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project Phase II.

Commissioner Steve Bradshaw to Host Community Breakfast Meeting Saturday, Nov. 4.

DeKalb County District 4 Commissioner Steve Bradshaw will host his last Quarterly in the Fourth community breakfast meeting for 2023 on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 to 11 a.m. at East Central DeKalb Community and Senior Center at 4885 Elam Rd., Stone Mountain. Honorable Judges Keisha R. Storey and Ronald B. Ramsey will provide an update on State Court.
