DeKalb Industrial Way,near the intersection of Lawrenceville Highway, will be closed from 7 p.m., Feb. 15, to 7 a.m., Feb. 27, as part of the Scott Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project Phase II. The closure will be in effect 24 hours a day.

Due to forecasted cold weather, DeKalb County will open five warming centers for residents on Tues., Feb. 13, 2024, starting at 8 p.m. to use. Anyone staying in the warming centers must follow the county’s COVID-19 protocols that include wearing a mask, social distancing and undergoing a temperature check.

DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold a Mini Day Camp Feb. 16 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost of camp is $10 for a day of activities for children ages 5-15. The DeKalb County Board of Ethics will conduct its regular meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Maloof Auditorium, located at 1300 Commerce Dr., Decatur, GA 30030.

Russell Drive between S Columbia Drive and Chester Way and Chester Way between North Carter Road and Russell Drive, will be closed to through-traffic Friday, February 9 to Friday, March 1 to facilitate the installation of a new 30-inch water line on Russell Drive, Decatur, Ga. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions.
