The DeKalb County Board of Assessors is responsible for establishing the fair market value of property for ad valorem taxation, as required by state law. The five appointed members are appointed by the BOC, serve fixed terms and meet bi-weekly on Thursdays at 9:30 AM to oversee property assessment operations.
