Efforts to improve water service capacity throughout DeKalb County will continue on Monday, April 29, with the launch of the Woodacres Water Main Replacement Project. Crews will replace 4,105 linear feet of waterline along Battle Drive, Jordan Terrace, Woodacres Road, Malabar Drive and Wentworth Drive.

This line repair project is expected to last approximately six months (April to October 2024), barring any weather delays.

Normal construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
