Crews will replace aging water main
Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continue Monday, Sept. 18, with the launch of the Scott Boulevard Phase III Water Main Replacement Project.
Crews will replace 19,650 linear feet of aging pipelines.
The line repair project is expected to last approximately nine months (September 2023 to June 2024), barring any weather delays.
Normal construction hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.
An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
