Construction to install new water main

Efforts to improve water service capacity throughout DeKalb County continue on Tuesday, April 22 with the launch of the Rosewood Road  Water Main Replacement Project. Crews will replace 16,900 linear feet of water lines with new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP). This project is expected to last twelve months (April 2025 to March 2026), barring any weather delays.

Normal construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
