Public Information Open House Events for Shoal Creek Trunk Sewer Improvement Project on Nov. 14 and 16

Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continues with the design of Shoal Creek Trunk Sewer Improvement Project.

The county will host two (2) Public Information Open House events about this project. Both of these events will present the same information.

The Shoal Creek Trunk Sewer Improvement Project will address repeat sanitary sewer overflow areas and help meet future sewer demands for the next 50 years. Construction is expected to begin in 2025 and last approximately three years.

Atkins, working on behalf of DeKalb County, is the engineering and design company for the Shoal Creek Trunk Sewer Improvement Project.
