Malone Drive Water Line Repair Project Begins Jan. 13

Efforts to improve water service capacity throughout DeKalb County continue on Monday, Jan. 13 with the launch of the Malone Drive Water Line Repair Project. Crews will repair 60 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP), affecting Malone Drive between Peachtree Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. This project is expected to last one month (January to February 2025), barring any weather delays.
Normal construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
