Haygood Drive Water Line Replacement Project Begins March 1

Construction to install 16-inch water line system

Efforts to improve water service capacity throughout DeKalb County continues on Tuesday, Mar. 1, with the launch of the Haygood Drive Water Line Replacement Project. Work will include the installation of 1,250 linear feet of new, 16” water line on Haygood Drive between Clifton Road and Ridgewood Drive. The line repair project is expected to last approximately 3 months (March 2022 to May 2022), barring any weather delays.

Motorists should expect delays stemming from the lane closure. Lane closure signs and traffic flaggers will assist motorists in moving safely around the lane closure. Construction crews will work diligently to minimize the length of impact to motorists.
