DeKalb Residents Urged to Avoid Fallen Trees, Downed Power Lines and Flooded Streets--8:35 a.m.

DeKalb County is receiving reports of fallen trees, downed power lines and flooded streets throughout the county.

Downed trees have been reported in the following locations:

  • Rock Springs Rd @ Roseheath Lane
  • Vickers Dr @ Ridgewood Dr
  • Crestline Dr @ Oak Grove Rd
  • Kelly St 
  • Oldfield Dr 
  • Maplehurdt Dr 
  • Snapfinger Rd @ Emerald Falls Dr
  • Porter Rd 
  • Dawn Ct 
  • Huntlea Ct 
  • S. Hairston Rd 
  • Mercer Rd 
  • Briarcliff Rd @ Chrysler Dr
  • Milam Cir 
  • Oakgrove Rd 
  • Fairoaks Rd 
  • Stonehaven Dr 
  • Desmond Dr @ Clairmont Rd
  • Rock Springs Rd 
  • Oxbridge Way @ Rock Springs Rd

Flooding has been reported in the following locations

  • Rollingwood Lane
  • Castlegate Terrace 
  • Pleasantdale Road @ Pleasantdale Crossing
  • Montevallo Circle

Residents should avoid these areas to allow crews to clear the roads when weather conditions allow them to do so.
