DeKalb Parks Partners with the Mushroom Club of Georgia to Host an Oyster Mushroom Bag Cultivation Workshop July 27

DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will partner with the Mushroom Club of Georgia to host an Oyster Mushroom Bag Cultivation workshop on Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Center, 3787 Klondike Rd, Stonecrest, Ga.

The workshop is free, and participants will be introduced to the world of fungi. The workshop will include a presentation and a hands-on session that will teach an easy at-home process for growing oyster mushrooms. All supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
