DeKalb Crews Working to Repair a Broken Main at 33 Covington Road

UPDATE—1:30 p.m.

DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management crews are currently onsite at 33 Covington Road due to a water main break caused by a CEI fiber optic contractor. The specific main affected has not yet been identified. However, isolation of both the 16-inch and 36-inch water mains was necessary. 

Customers in the area will experience interruption of water service due to the damaged water line.

Traffic controls are in place as the repairs are being made.  Motorists are asked to please avoid the area if possible and expect traffic delays.
