DeKalb County Super Districts partner with the Beautification Unit, joining forces to support ‘The Great American Cleanup’ through Recycling and Community Initiatives

DeKalb Beautification Unit - Director Tracy Hutchinson and Superintendent Ricky Crockett 
 
What:     DeKalb County Super Districts along with the Beautification Unit of the Sanitation Department are joining forces for a community-wide initiative to boost recycling, clean-up efforts, and environmental awareness!  We invite you to join us, as we reduce, reuse and recycle daily to make a lasting impact within our communities. 

We encourage you to start a recycling program, advocate for sustainable practices, and choose eco-friendly products, while increasing your mindfulness surrounding our world. But that’s not all, we’re turning this into a friendly competition!  

Are you a CHAMPION for a cleaner, greener DeKalb!? Are you in a DISTRICT OF CHAMPIONS!? Track how many bags of litter you, your neighborhood or organization collects, and the Super District, along with the individual with the most will WIN a special Prize! 

Let’s work together to create a cleaner, greener DeKalb County while having tons of fun along the way.! Get involved, spread the word, and let’s lead the charge in MARCHING INTO A CLEANER TOMORROW. March Into A Greener Tomorrow  

When:    The GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN-UP March 20th – June 21st.  
•    Clean-up Supplies will be available for pickup! 
•    Note: Final Day to schedule your Supply Pickup: June 12th 
•    Get the materials you need to be a CHAMPION and make a difference today!            
•    The GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN-UP Awards Brunch: Saturday, June 28th, 11AM-2PM
