Participants will be able to enjoy a game of chess with local chess champion, Orrin “Checkmate” Hudson. Parents are encouraged to bring their children 12 and up to the event to be vaccinated and participate in a game of chess. Participants will also receive information about back to school immunization requirements, the 2021 DeKalb Summer Voucher Program, employment services and training opportunities from Work Source DeKalb. Participants will also be able to register to vote.
Individuals who get vaccinated during the “Don’t Wait, Vaccinate” event will have a chance to win several incentives in the CVS Sweepstakes, sponsored by CVS Pharmacy.
