Construction to replace sewer lines

On Monday, July 8, Bobbie Lane will extend the road closure for approximately four weeks, barring any weather delays. Crews will require a road closure to replace sewer lines, which are a part of the Cobb Creek Sewer Improvement Project. During this closure, there will be detour signs in place to direct traffic around the closed off portion of the road. The road closure will be intermittent during the week, and the road will be open on the weekend.

Motorists should expect delays stemming from the road closure. Precautionary signs and traffic flaggers will assist in moving safely through the road closure. Construction crews will work to minimize the length of impact to motorists.

Normal construction hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
