DeKalb County Watershed Management crews will replace and/or repair a malfunctioning valve at the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody Road and Perimeter Summit Parkway. A portion of the northbound lane will be closed on Sunday, March 13, at 8:30 a.m., while crews make repairs and restore service during a planned water outage. This section of Ashford Dunwoody Road will reopen on Monday, March 14.

DeKalb County will open three warming centers for residents to use overnight. Warming centers will be open in the following DeKalb County Fire Stations Fri. through Sun., March 11-13, beginning at 8 p.m. each night.

DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will offer a mini day camp on March 11 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost of camp is $10 a day for children ages 5-12. Participants must provide their own breakfast, lunch and snack. Park staff will meet campers outside all recreation centers for curbside drop off and pickup. Parents will not be allowed to enter the facility during operating hours. All campers are required to be screened via temperature checks and must wear a mask while indoors.

On Monday, March 14, overnight work to repair a leaking water main will begin at the intersection of DeKalb Industrial Way and North Decatur Road from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. DeKalb County contractors will repair leaks in the water transmission system of a 30” main.
