Winters Chapel Water Main Replacement Project Begins Aug. 10

Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continue Monday, Aug. 10 with the launch of the Winters Chapel Water Main Replacement Project. Crews will replace 3,100 linear feet of aging pipelines. The line repair project is expected to last approximately four months (August to November 2026). barring any weather delays. 

Normal construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
