Lane Closure & Detour at Peachtree Boulevard and Chamblee Dunwoody Road on July 31

On Friday, July 31, the intersection of Peachtree Boulevard and Chamblee Dunwoody Road will be affected by intermittent lane closures between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., barring any weather delays. This work is being done as part of the Peachtree Boulevard Water Transmission Main Replacement Project.

Northbound travelers on Peachtree Boulevard will need to detour to American Way instead of turning right on Chamblee Dunwoody Road because the right turn lane will be closed. Westbound travelers on Chamblee Dunwoody Road will be directed around the lane closure and through the intersection to Peachtree Boulevard.  

Motorists should expect delays stemming from the road closure. Precautionary signs, traffic flaggers and law enforcement will assist in moving safely around the closed off portion of the road. Construction crews will work diligently to minimize the length of impact to motorists.
