PPR REQUEST AND AUTHORIZATION FORM

IN ACCORDANCE WITH DEKALB COUNTY CODE SECTION

Only the Airport Director, Deputy Airport Director, or Noise/Environmental Analyst can grant a PPR number for military aircraft wanting to use the facilities @ PDK.

For all Requestors: advise them:

  1. We have noise sensitive areas in all quadrants.
  2. Use their best “noise abatement” procedures for landing & take-off.
  3. Published fixed wing noise abatement procedures are available.

 

VOLUNTARY NIGHTTIME CURFEW OPERATION

If a pilot needs to land during the voluntary nighttime curfew period (11PM-6AM daily), flight must be: (1) Bonafide emergency operation; (2) MEDEVAC / patient transfer/organ transfer / any other medical emergency; (3) Disaster / emergency relief operation.  Prior authorization will not be granted, unless the operation is in one of these categories.
