Briarcliff Way NE, between Clifton Road NE and Old Briarcliff Road NE, will be closed to through-traffic from midnight to 4 a.m., Saturday, May 22, to facilitate the filming of Emergency in Decatur. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions.

The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs has opened registration for “Camp Superstars” summer camp program. Camp Superstars, a summer day camp for ages 5-15, runs June 14 to July 30, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The camp fee is $66 per week, and breakfast and lunch are provided.

DeKalb County Extension announces the seventh season of Fresh on DeK, DeKalb County’s Mobile Farmers Market, travelling throughout the county to offer nutrition education and fresh-grown fruits and vegetables. Session A will be from June 7-July 30, and Session B will be from Aug. 2 – Sept. 24.
