Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)

The DeKalb County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is responsible for developing a local emergency plan for the county and for the collection of information submitted by businesses.

More specifically, DeKalb LEPC is a community-based organization with members from the fire service, law enforcement, public health, environmental agencies, local officials and facility officials. It will be open to anyone who can contribute to the overall protection and safety of the community.
