2023 YOUTH COMMISSION

The DeKalb County Youth Commission is a leadership program that provides youth from varied socioeconomic backgrounds and multicultural neighborhoods with opportunities to have a voice in their communities.

The Youth Commissioners will become effective leaders of the future by learning the roles of county government, participating in civic and community activities, and representing the views of DeKalb County youth.

Students enrolled in DeKalb County’s high schools from the tenth through twelve grades are encouraged to apply annually to participate in the DeKalb County Youth Commission program.
