DeKalb County uses captured rainwater or reuse water to irrigate landscapes at some government facilities. Sugar Creek Golf Course and Mystery Valley Golf Course collect rainwater in a retention pond, and that water is pumped to irrigate the golf courses. The Toco Hills- Avis Williams Library incorporates various methods of stormwater mitigation and green infrastructure. There is a rain garden filtration system, and water is collected from the roof and fed through a series of natural features to clean it and then fed into the underground detention system.
