County administrative offices, parks and recreation facilities, libraries, senior centers and other administrative divisions are closed today. The Seminole Road Landfill, located at 4203 Clevemont Road, Ellenwood, and the North Transfer Station, located at 4600 Buford Highway, Chamblee, also are closed.

Power outages can be reported to Georgia Power at 888-660-5890 (residential customers) and 888-655-5888 (commercial customers). Snapping Shoals EMC customers can call 770-786-3484, press option “1.”

County residents are urged to use extreme caution and check their local news for updates regarding severe weather.
