DeKalb County to Hold District 7 Runoff Election

DECATUR, GA. – A runoff will be held on Dec. 6 in the special election for Commission District 7.

The runoff is between Greg Adams and Randal Mangham. The newly elected commissioner will represent more than 350,000 residents in the eastern section of DeKalb County.

Adams and Mangham received the most votes of nine candidates in the Nov. 8 general election. About 26 percent of voters picked Adams and 16 percent chose Mangham.

Polls will be open Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at voting precincts in Super District 7, which includes Doraville, Lithonia, Pine Lake, Stone Mountain, Tucker and unincorporated areas.
