It is my pleasure to welcome you to the DeKalb County Fire Rescue webpage where you can learn about your fire department!

I have the honor of leading an amazing group of dedicated men and women whose solitary focus is to provide superior service.  Their tireless work toward improving safety, minimizing loss, and responding to the calls for service is unequalled.  DeKalb County Fire Rescue is an ISO Class-2, all-hazard emergency service delivery department that serves a diverse community of 700,000+ residents and visitors.  The geographical area consists of well-established unincorporated communities, as well as twelve thriving incorporated cities. 

We embrace the challenges and opportunities of providing those services in a fast-pace and complex environment.  Through training, innovation, and a data-driven decision making lens, we are able to remain in a constant state of improvement.
