DeKalb County Voter Reminders for June 18 General Primary Election Runoff

DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) encourages all registered voters who plan on voting on Election Day to make a plan to vote.

The runoff for the General Primary election is Tuesday, June 18 and polls will be open from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. On Election Day, voters must vote at their assigned precinct. Before heading to the polls, voters should verify their precinct information at www.DeKalbVotes.com. Wait times can be viewed here. It’s important to note that provisional ballots will not be available for voters who arrive at the incorrect precinct until the final hour of voting. Additionally, the weather will be warm and voters are encouraged to bring water to drink while waiting in line.

For voters who have a completed absentee ballot, it must be hand-delivered to the DeKalb VRE office, located at 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300, in Decatur. Absentee ballots must arrive at DeKalb VRE by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. 

Election results will be posted throughout the evening on Tuesday, June 18 at www.DeKalbVotes.com.
