Distribution begins at 7 a.m.

Bottled water will again be distributed Sunday for DeKalb residents who have been affected by the City of Atlanta’s water main breaks.

One case of water per household will be distributed beginning at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Atlanta-DeKalb Human Services Complex, 30 Warren Street, Atlanta.

Representatives from the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management,

Department of Human Services and Fire Rescue and Police Department are coordinating the distribution.

“We are honored to provide mutual aid and assistance to Atlanta-DeKalb residents and our friends and neighbors in Atlanta during this crisis,” DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond said.

The water is available for customers in the affected area who are experiencing low to no water pressure during the City of Atlanta’s water outages and repairs.

Earlier today, DeKalb distributed approximately 2,000 bottles of water to county residents who are city of Atlanta water customers.

Additionally, the county delivered bottled water to three City of Atlanta fire stations which served as distribution locations.
